8:00am vs. Pocono Pride Black (Lyons field 1)
9:45am vs. Gold Coast Hurricanes (Lyons field 1)
1:15pm vs. LK Revenge (Lyons field 2)

So that’s play, play, sit, play, sit, sit… which apparently is the schedule you guys love. LOL.

Yes, we are playing GC Hurricanes again. Same team that you guys played last week. My understanding is the Brenna is guest playing for them again.

WHAT TIME SHOULD WE ARRIVE?
As you know, I give everyone an extra 15 minutes for 8am start times, so please arrive by 7:15am, but please don’t be late. 45 minutes to get ready is the bare minimum.

WHAT DOES THE SUNDAY BRACKET LOOK LIKE?
They are back to the Gold and Silver brackets again just as they did for the first 2 tournaments.

As you can see, the Gold Bracket championship is at 11:30am, and the Silver bracket championship is at 9:45am! (Yes, 9:45am.) So no matter what, everyone will be done pretty early Sunday.

HOW LONG ARE THE GAMES?
Pool play games are 1 hour and 30 minutes on Saturday, finish the inning and can end in a tie.

Bracket games are all also 1 hour and 30 minutes, finish the inning, EXCEPT for the Championship games which will be played in their entirety. International tie breaker rules for any games that go extra innings.

WHAT ARE THE MERCY RULES?
Run rules are 15 after 3, 12 after 4, and 8 after 5.

CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD?
At Fleetwood high school, yes. There is no concession stand there.

At Lyons, no. No outside food is allowed inside the fence at Lyons. There IS a concession stand there. Note that is CASH only.

HOW DOES THE WEATHER LOOK?
Saturday = Mostly cloudy in the morning with a 20% chance of rain. No wind. It’s going to be hot, so it’s good to have the morning games. A comfortable 69 degrees at 7am (“feels like” 72), going up to 85 degrees with a “feels like” 90 by 5pm.

Sunday = The good news is that Sunday is cooler – still warm, but cooler than Saturday. The bad news is that the weather is…sketchy. Looks like one of those mid-July summer days were there’s probably going to be a thunderstorm at some point, it’s just a matter of when. Hopefully any storms come through mid-afternoon or later and we get all of the games in. It’s only a 50-60% chance of rain, so the threat isn’t at all like last Sunday (jinx!) where we were assured of getting slammed. 72 degrees at 7am, going up to 81 degrees (“feels like” 85) by mid-afternoon.

WHAT UNIFORMS ARE WE WEARING?
Saturdays are always the white/red/black jerseys with black pants and cherry red socks. (Black or red belt if you wear a belt.)

Sundays are always the gold/black jerseys with black pants and black socks. (Black or gold belt if you wear a belt.)
