There are literally 79 different teams at this event. (54) 18U teams and (25) 16U teams.

We will be at the Rapho Park fields:

9:30am vs. Sting Premier
12:30pm vs. Lakeshore Lightning
3:30pm vs. Lionsville Lightning

(That’s a lot of Lightning. Surprised we aren’t playing some sort of “Storm” in the first game.)

So that’s sit, play, sit, play, sit, play. And we get to sleep in.

We’re on the “R2” field all day long so we won’t have to move at any point.

This is a showcase, so the usual showcase rules apply:
> Free defensive substitutions on Saturday, no line-up cards
> Saturday games have no bearing on Sunday’s bracket
> Sunday’s bracket is random draw
> Saturday is 1 hour and 20 minutes, drop dead, finish the batter
> Sunday is 1 hour and 30 minute games, finish the inning
> Sunday’s brackets will be posted by noon on Saturday

The “Exposure Games” are an optional activity on Friday night prior to the showcase. The last email I received said they still have openings. College coaches from all divisions are attending this event. Girls will be placed randomly on up to 10-girl teams to play 3 games. Teams will be coached by college coaches, while receiving instruction as well. Check in for the exposure games begins at 3:45pm (although another place on their website says 3:00pm). Entry fee is $80/girl. Games will be played 4:30pm thru around 8:00pm.
