Hello Tigers players and parents!

Just as we did last summer, we’re going to do THE DREAM LEAGUE again! For those that weren’t there last year, you missed out on an incredible experience and opportunity to give back to our community, but now you have another chance to do it, and not miss it this time!

The Dream League is affiliated with Baseballtown Charities and the Reading Fightin Phils, and gives those with physical and cognitive disabilities the same chance to experience the magic of baseball/softball and thrill of playing on the diamond through custom-designed, turf fields that accommodate wheelchairs and other assistive devices while helping to prevent injuries. During the summer of 2017, Baseballtown Charities broke ground on the Savage 61 Dream Field at the Relevant Sports Complex, a million-dollar facility in Muhlenberg Township. In the Spring of 2018, for the first time ever over 100 children finally had the opportunity to play on a field of their own, in a league of their own, just like every other kid.

So where do we come in? The Dream League pairs their players with disabilities with our players who they call their Dream League “Angels”. Our girls as “Angels” help keep the players safe, and guide them as they play. Some players need help batting, need guidance getting around the bases, etc.

The date and time slot I’ve picked for this is SATURDAY, JUNE 3RD, 11:00am-1:15pm. It’s important that everyone mark their planned attendance INCLUDING PARENTS who can also take part so I am sure that we will have enough people.

Here’s a video so you can see what this is about…
