Rain-outs at Raptors and Force will be made up on Mon 7/24

WHAT TIME DO WE PLAY?
Double-Header:
6:30pm, Raptors @ Tigers
8:00pm, Tigers @ Berks Force

WAIT WHAT? BOTH GAMES AREN’T AT THE SAME PLACE?
Unfortunately not. These are our rain-out make-up games and it’s a long story, but we need to play the Raptors at Lyons on field 2 because they are playing 2 make-up games there that night. (They stay there and play Mountain Hawks after us.)

Then we still need to play a 2nd game on a field with lights and since Lyons field 1 is already being used at 8pm for the Mountain Hawks/Raptors make-up game, we have no choice but to go to Blandon to play the 2nd game.

The plan is to move the Raptors game along as quickly as possible. (No infield warm-ups between innings, and only 1 pitcher warm-up pitch.) And hopefully we mercy rule then and can get on the road for Game 2 at Blandon ASAP.

WHAT TIME SHOULD WE ARRIVE?
All girls should arrive at Lyons by 5:45pm at the latest to start warming up.

HOW DOES THE WEATHER LOOK?
Sketchy but probably will be OK. There’s a 50% chance of scattered thunderstorms between 11am and 7pm. Looks like one of those typical humid July days were a thunderstorm could appear at any moment, but it doesn’t look like it will amount to much rain if it does rain. It’s only 50% cloud cover during the games, so mix of sun and clouds, no wind. 79 degrees at 6pm (“feels like” 82), dropping to 72 degrees by 10pm (“feels like” 73).
